GENERAL INFORMATION
Paperless Communication
All Parents must provide a valid working email. Emails will be our primary mode of home to school communication. Parents may also provide a number to receive mass texts.
Automatic Payment Withdrawals
Once the system for automatic payment options is available, parents will be encouraged to use this convenient method for providing payments. Delinquent or late payments may result in a mandatory use of this system for continued enrollment.
Transfer of Immunization Records
When transferring from one school to another, the parent should request the Certificate of Immunization from the current school and take it to the new school. The student’s original State of New Jersey Health History and Appraisal (form- A-45) will be mailed to new school once student is officially enrolled and request is made by health office of new school. The A-45 is a form, which is used to document all immunizations the student has received to date.

Cellular/Mobile Phones
Students are not allowed to use personal phones to make calls or outside contact of any kind during the school day. We believe that technology is a useful tool. It is important for students to have access to information and applications that will aid and enhance instruction and the learning experience. All students and parents will be required to sign the Use of Technology Agreement. There may be times during the school day when the use of smart phones will be allowed and appropriate for use. Cellular phones being seen, heard or used during the school day without permission, or being misused at any time will be confiscated and left with the Director of Designee to be picked up by a parent or guardian
IMPORTANT: Teachers will not safeguard cell phones and under no circumstances will the school be responsible for replacement or repair of lost, damaged, or stolen cellular phones irrespective of whether the phone is stolen from a locker or from any other place. It’s best to follow school policy for the use of cellular phones.
Rock Christian Academy for the Performing Arts (Rock CAPA) is committed to maintaining high-quality educational services while ensuring that families understand the financial obligations associated with enrollment. Because staffing, curriculum licenses, student accounts, and educational resources are purchased and assigned in advance, certain fees are non-refundable.
The Enrollment and Registration Fee ($409 per student) is due upon enrollment and secures the student's placement for the school year. This fee covers the costs associated with preparing the student's educational program before instruction begins.
Tuition Refund Policy
Monthly tuition covers instructional services, teacher support, academic monitoring, grading, educational technology, and ongoing operational costs.
If a family withdraws before the student's first scheduled day of attendance, tuition already paid for future instructional months will be refunded. The Enrollment and Registration Fee remain non-refundable.
The Enrollment Fee is intended to cover the costs of preparing the student's educational program for the beginning of the school year. Because these expenses are incurred before instruction begins, no refund of the Enrollment and Registration Fee will be issued after enrollment has been completed. If tuition has been prepaid beyond the first month, only unused future months may be eligible for refund.
Once a student has attended classes, accessed online coursework, participated in instructional activities, or received educational services, tuition for the current month is considered earned and is non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for:
Student absences
Vacations
Illness
Schedule changes
Early withdrawal during a billing month
Failure to complete coursework
Disciplinary withdrawal
Voluntary withdrawal
Parents wishing to withdraw a student must submit written notice to the school. The effective withdrawal date will be the date written notification is received. Students remain financially responsible for tuition through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise approved by the school. Failure to attend classes does not constitute official withdrawal.
Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests resulting from extraordinary circumstances, including serious medical emergencies, military deployment, or other documented hardships, may be reviewed by the Executive Director on a case-by-case basis. Approval of any exception is solely at the discretion of Rock Christian Academy for the Performing Arts and should not be interpreted as establishing a precedent for future requests.
